Spring 2008In February, MSF responded to the need for emergency assistance after post-election violence broke out in Kenya. Winter 2005This special "Year in Pictures" issue of Alert draws on the work of some exceptional photographers. Included in this issue is a selection of images from five world-renowned photographers from the VII photo agency—Ron Haviv, Gary Knight, Antonin Kratochvil, Joachim Ladefoged, and James Nachtwey—who traveled to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with MSF.
